Caravaca de la Cruz is considered to be one of the five holy cities in the world, for Christianity, and a key destination for pilgrims and travellers alike who are looking for an inspiring, different and above all enjoyable place to go. A Teresian city, with a convent founded by Saint Teresa de Jesús in 1576, it´s integrated into the “Teresian Cities” of Spain. A wonderful medieval place where you will pop into convents, amazing churches, narrow streets and, above all the True Cross is kept in the basilica of the Blessed and True Cross of Caravaca.
